J.D. Power established its Senior Living practice in 2018 as we recognized the need in the industry for an independent measurement of senior living and assisted living quality and senior resident satisfaction. Our commitment to the industry involves annual resident customer satisfaction research with community residents, community certification and recognition, and the development of new data products.

Senior Living Satisfaction Study

Our annual J.D. Power U.S. Senior Living Satisfaction Study examines industry-level performance metrics across seven factors of the resident experience and highlights the best practices that are critical to satisfying customers. In 2020, we are updating the study to separately measure the Independent Living and Assisted Living/Memory Care segments.
